Tater Tot Casserole Recipe

  • 2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1 bag of onion seasoning
  • 1 lb of sour cream
  • About 81 frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese

  • 1 skillet
  • 1 meat chopper
  • 4-8 paper towel sheets
  • 1 9x13 inch baking pan
  • 1 timer

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Turn the stove on medium-high heat.

(Optional) Use paper towels to soak up the grease from the cooked meat.

Sprinkle a packet of onion seasoning throughout the meat.

Add 1 lb of sour cream to the pan and stir until it is fully combined with the meat.

Acquire a 9×13 inch baking pan.

Pour the contents of the skillet into the baking pan.

Spread the ground beef evenly throughout the pan.

Acquire a bag of tater tots (about 81).

Place the tater tots evenly on top of the meat to create a full layer.

Place the casserole pan in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Remove when done.

Acquire 2 cups of shredded cheese.

Spread the cheese over the casserole until the top is mostly covered.
